my girlfriend's ultrasound showed we are having a boy..she is now 12 weeks 6 days pregnant ANSWER generally ultrasound techs (even the best) won't give you an answer till you are around the 16 week mark You can try to determine your baby gender with Chinese Birth Gender chart. This is easy and accurate baby gender prediction.
Answer . \nis usually the most common procedure used to determine a babys gender. Throughout pregnancy, it is likely that youll receive a few different ultrasounds. Ultrasounds between the 18th and 26th week of pregnancy are usually the most accurate when it comes to determining the sex of a fetus.
Answer . 1 week after your missed period. A blood test can detect the HCG levels in your blood then
Answer . Yes according to this website it does. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/prenatal-care/PR00112. At week five, your baby is 1/17 of an inch long - about the size of the tip of a pen.. This week, your baby's heart and circulatory system are taking shape. Your baby's blood vessels will complete a circuit, and his or her heart will begin to beat. Although you won't be able to hear it yet, the motion of your baby's beating heart may be detected with an ultrasound exam.. With these changes, blood circulation begins - making the circulatory system the first functioning organ system.
Answer . As I understand it, it is men who generally die earlier. Which is unusual considering the biological stresses one women (pregnancy etc).. Most studies read indicate a disregard for personal health or a longer working life and stress as general factors in the early deaths of most men.
Well, this is quite the tricky question to answer! Technically if you look at a week-by-week calendar of pregnancy you will notice that the first week of pregnancy is your week of ovulation (before you conceive!). So if you count the day that you conceived as your first day of pregnancy you are actually about 3 weeks along! I will try to find some links that do a better job of explaining this! . http://www.pregnancy-info.net/week1.html . http://kidshealth.org/parent/pregnancy_calendar/week1.html
At 5 weeks of pregnancy , the fetus is still in the process of organeosis. It will take 3 months for to complete this.
Sexing a chick is quite a difficult job to do accurately. Vent sexing or identifying the sex of a day old chick by looking at its sexual organs is done by very few, well trained people. It takes a long time to learn how to identify the more than 15 different shapes of the cloaca. Chicks are often damaged or killed by squeezing them too hard when done by a novice handler. Feather sexing is based on feather characteristics that differ between male and female chicks. The feather appearances are determined by specially selected genetic traits (sex-link) that must be present in the chick strain you are looking at. Most breeds of chickens do not have these feather sexing characteristics and the feathering of both sexes appear identical. The easiest method of sexing chickens by the novice small flock owner is to care for the birds until they begin showing the natural secondary characteristics of their gender. In males, the combs and wattles will become larger than those on females and the head will become more angular and masculine looking. The female will remain smaller than the male and is more refined or feminine looking. When they are about 3 months old toss a hat or plastic plate over their heads while they are active and in the yard then watch, roosters will look up and go on alert, making keening sounds as a warning while the hens will crouch down and stay very still and quiet.
Sure can. The external genitalia are developed enough to differentiate between genders by the end of the third month, meaning by week 12..
Mice are too small for you to tell their gender when they are onlytwo weeks old. When they get a little older, you can look undertheir tails for signs. Males will have two distinct openings, witha bit of space between them. Females have what looks more like onelong opening, but is actually two openings that are very closetogether.
Yes, your baby may be moving. Usually the mother doesn't begin feeling the baby's movements 'til the 4th or 5th month. As the baby grows and develops the movements get stronger. Eventually you will be able to see the movement in your belly.
Tampons wouldn't affect a baby during pregnancy, but there isabsolutely no reason why a woman should be using tampons while sheis pregnant - tampons should only be used during menstruation, evenif experiencing bleeding during pregnancy it is not safe to usetampons as you don't know the blood loss to know what absorbency touse. Misusing tampons this way can increase risk of vaginalinfections and toxic shock syndrome - the latter would potentiallycause serious harm to the baby.
With a sonogram: At 24 weeks almost always, at 18 weeks, only if you're lucky.. With amniocentesis at about 12 weeks (but higher risk).
16 weeks it is possible to detect gender. Most OB's won't order an ultrasound until 18-20 weeks.
The weight is about 1 gram and it's 14-20 mm long so about the size of a bean. See link below.
No. Look at what your baby looks like at 10 weeks!:http://3dpregnancy.parentsconnect.com/calendar/10-weeks-pregnant.html Usually between 15-18 weeks you will find out the gender of your baby.. Actually, yes you can:. http://www.intelligender.com/
You can never tell until a later date but it depends on if the males sperm is x or y type
There are myths that if a woman is carrying her bump high it is a girl and if the woman is carrying low it will be a boy, however these are myths and the best way to get the sex of your baby is to have a scan.. I hope this helps
Midwives normally say you can start to feel fluttering sensations at around 16 weeks of pregnancy. However this can happen much sooner in some women and sometimes longer in others.
Some people can by their third pregnancy because they know what the feeling is like. It's not unusual, although it is also possible that it may be because you are slightly further on than you though you were
14 weeks is a little early to tell, most ultrasounds are done between 16-20 weeks. I am 14 weeks pregnant with my third child and with my other two they were able to see at 16 weeks.
It can actually raise a lot of complication's. The mother/baby is more likely to experience preclapsia, placental abruption, high birth weight, cesarean section, epesiotomy, brain damage, umbilical cord collapse and knots, and stillbirth just to name a few. Most dr will induce labor by 42 weeks.
A baby is counted as 'viable' (able to survive) from 24 weeks of pregnancy but I would not call that safe. 33% of babies born at 24 weeks, 19.9% at 23 weeks, and 9.1% at 22 weeks live long enough to be discharged from hospital. Not surviving but being discharged. So only a third survives from 24 weeks and usually with damages. It's in those last weeks the lungs are developing so I would say week 38 when you have gone the whole pregnancy is the safest. A few weeks before that can also be safe, it depends on the fetus condition and development.
This is normal. At 5 weeks there should just be a yolk sac and possible a little heart beat. The baby is just barely the size of a period "." at the end of a sentence. Your baby is only 2 milimeters long and weighs less than one gram! Go to http://3dpregnancy.parentsconnect.com/calendar/5-weeks-pregnant.html to see a 3D picture of your baby each week!
At 7 weeks the baby still looks like a little alien! He/she is weighs less than one gram and is about 1/3 of an inch long! He is about the size of a tic tac! This week your baby's brain is growing at 100 cells per minute within a see-through skull. Your baby's face is becoming more defined this week. A tiny mouth hole (which will be ready to wail before you know it!), tongue, nostrils and ear indentations are visible. His or her eyes are wide open, but he doesn't have irises (the colored part) yet. Baby's arm buds are growing. At this point they look more like microscopic ping-pong paddles than arms. Baby's leg buds are also forming and will look like tiny paddles by the end of the week. The umbilical cord-the connection between your baby and the placenta-is now visible.
We found out at 16 weeks what we were having. It's possible but only if your baby cooperates.
I am 13 weeks and 3 days and this is my 2nd child, I am feeling it move right now. Little popcorn sensations.
No, you can't feel the baby move at 4 weeks. by 4 weeks the baby hasn't been formed its still an egg - growing into a baby
Then you have the option of abortion and you have to see a doctor for that.
It depends on the determination method. More invasive laboratory tests can tell you within a couple of months pregnancy. Ultrasounds would give an indication within 4 months or so. The "old fashioned method" of inspecting the crotch can be used as soon as they are born. All the methods have their shortcomings, which could include fetal harm (during amniocentesis) or making the wrong determination.
You cannot select the gender once pregnancy has begun. However you cannot select gender before pregnancy without medical help. There are plenty of old wives tales about sexual positions, timing, and douching with various solutions before having sex, but there is no proof that any of this works. One theory is that male sperm weighs less and thus travels faster because of the Y chromosome, so you would have sex right before ovulation if you want a girl (to give the male sperm a chance to die) and a couple days after ovulation if you want a boy. Again, there is little or no scientific evidence that this helps.
This is normally done at a scan around 16 to 22 weeks along depending on your dr.
In cases of Fetal Growth Restriction it is better for the baby to be delivered at 35 weeks, than to remain pregnant and possibly face further restriction or loss.
A woman can have an ultrasound to determine the baby's sex as early as 15 weeks. However, an ultrasound is not 100% accurate - the only way to be 100% accurate is to have an amniocentesis, which is a risky procedure that a doctor won't perform just to determine the baby's sex.
The first week the fertilized egg in traveling down the fallopian tube, then it implants in the womb the 2nd week. The uterus in behind ur pubic bone and wont be felt for a few months.
No. You will most likely have an ultra sound around 16 to 20 weeks of pregnancy and you will be able to find out then.
Typically you can find out your babys gender at your 20 week ultrasound. This is if baby is cooperating and isn't being shy about their man or lady parts
Most doctors will attempt to find out the gender of the baby after 16 weeks, but many do not like to try until the 20 week ultrasound because of the increased risk of being incorrect or not being able to tell yet.
No the gender is determined the moment of conception - by an X or Y chromosome on the sperm cell.
There's nothing set in stone. Normally after 37 weeks a baby is concidered full term but could still have some unexpected complications. Before 37 weeks doctors are generally prepared for a baby who is likely to have complications but often even a 35 week baby will be delivered without complications.
yes you can you can properly see how the baby is formed by sometimes you can have a miscarriage even though the baby is formed properly my estimates your baby will be okay
There is not set limit but you should feel occasional movement. It is has been a day since you have been aware of movement you should contact your doctor.
No. In your first week of pregnancy, the embryo in your womb is not even as large as a poppy seed (you don't hit poppy seed size until roughly 3-4 weeks). It's impossible to feel something so small move. Second time moms can generally feel their babies around 14 weeks pregnant. First time moms, much later. Between 16 and 22 weeks.
You.can..... But of is your first pregnancy you may not recognize it as the baby moving....movement is most noticeable after 3 months
Gender of the baby can be detected easily by Ultrasonography but it is a CRIME in most countries and most UNETHICAL to do so. Please do not disturb the balance of NATURE.( Humans are behaving with this PLANET the way, they have another to go and stay.)
In China, as with other countries, baby girls are not as prized as a boy. The ultra sound shows the sex of the baby and baby girls are more apt to be aborted. In India this has all ready happened.
The information should be contained in the summary of the report at the top, but if not you can read through the technician's or doctor's notes and if the gender was noted it should be included in this text.
One can find information on pregnancy week by week at a number of online sources. For example, Nestle Baby, Caring for Kids, Huggies, Pregnancy, and WebMD all have helpful information.
One can find a baby gender predictor on various websites like Parents and Netmums. One could also go to a local doctor and have an ultrasound to make sure what gender your baby is.
Week by week pregnancy pictures can be found in books retrieved from the library. There are websites online like Babycenter, Thebump, and 3Dpregnancy that have photos available of week by week pregnancy.
