Does drinking water really help you lose weight?
Yes, drinking water can help some people to lose weight. If your worried about bloating, try drinking luke-warm water. Cold water makes you bloat. I drink about 5-6 glasses everyday but i dont get that problem. Or even better drink 1 glass of warm water after every meal this will help also.

Not drinking water will dehydrate you and as a result will show you lighter on the scale temporarily. Dehydration can be very dangerous and even life threatening. It can cause… such symptoms as depression, and lethargy and long term can cause serious health problems involving the kidneys. Avoid "lose weight fast" solutions as they tend to not stick, and opt for a lifestyle change that includes a healthy diet, regular exercise including cardio and resistance training, and a generally more active lifestyle.
yes! when you drink could water it goes to the core of your stomach. When you drink the could water your body has to warm it up, because if your body heat goes under 180 degri…ses you will get hypothermia, so in order not to get hypothermia your body has to bern calories to to warm you up.
Water aids in weight loss, simply because the space in the stomach is taken up with water instead of food - hence the hunger feeling is abated. Poeple often mistake thirst for… hunger. The body warms cold water to body temperature, which uses energy (calories). But do not rely on this alone to lose weight. Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a pauper (with nothing between meals except water). A suggestion for a light dinner is: two to three pieces of fruit, cut into bite sized pieces: makes a big plate of food, and is filling yet light as it is easily digested before bedtime.
If you drink a glass of water before eating, it will help you feel full. Other than that, 8 glasses a day is plenty. Drinking more water can help you lose weight, but I wou…ldn't suggest going on a "water fast" or anything of that sort. Too much water can lead to death.
Drinking water while you are trying to lose weight helps keep you hydrated. However, you should not drink excessive amounts by substituting it for food that you might otherwis…e eat. Instead plan your meals so that you have the right balance of protein, vegetables and fruit. Answer The answer to this question is quite misunderstood. Water itself is not a "super drink" for loosing weight, but rather is a neutral way of keeping hydrated. Water provides no energy to the human body, so how does it help with weight loss? As mentioned earlier, water contains no special compound that helps with burning fat, but rather doesn't contain the nasties that are found in all the other drinks, and that's where its strength lies. It provides more hydration without additional unhealthier products. Consider this. You've just worked up a well earned sweat at the gym, and are really feeling pleased with yourself for progressing well. However, after exercising so intensely you are feeling quite thirsty (and rightly so). So you enter the corner shop, and here are your choices: Soft Drink is a big no no. It contains over 50 grams of sugar (that may not sound like a lot, but how does 10-15 teaspoons sound?). All that valuable work will be lost, especially just after a workout. Energy Drinks shouldn't be approached after exercise (in fact for a healthy diet, shouldn't be approached at all). For both of these drinks its important to note that "no sugar" doesn't necessarily mean "Go out, have fun and drink as much as you want," for you see there is another ingredient used as an alternative to sugar. Caffeine has been proven to decrease insulin levels (a hormone that regulates the amount of carbohydrates in taken by the body) and increase appetite. If your really interested in this information there's a great answer of Wikianswers on how Caffeine hinders weight loss. Alcohol is definitely a must not when trying to loose weight (well, have a drink or to every so often but don't over do it). It contains more energy than you might think, and it actually makes you thirstier, so really there's theoretically no point to it. But what about Water ? Its the perfect option. No excess energy, yet it still delivers maximum hydration. It's not the drink itself that makes you loose weight, but the action of replacing it with something not as healthy. Sports Drinks like Gatorade, Powerade, Energade, Lucozade, what ever - ade may be slightly better than water, but only if you've truly earned it. I'm talking about activity in excess of over one hour consistently (like running, triathlon) or two hours inconsistently (stop start events like soccer, rugby etc). Remember, its not the drink itself that's magical, but the effect it will have when being replaced for something unhealthier.
no, it makes you pee more though.
water helps you to lose weight by makeing you feel full and keeping you hydrated so you retain less water
Weight loss is purely a matter of calories. If you burn more than you take in your weight goes down. There is nothing about lemon water that would lower your caloric intake u…nless you use it as a substitute for a more caloric beverage. But plain water would work as well. sure
